Rick Case, CEO and Founder of Nite Ize, started the company as an undergraduate at the University of Colorado. While on a fishing trip at night, he was using a brand new mini flashlight and was holding it in his mouth. Sure enough, he opened his mouth and the flashlight fell out and into the depths of the water below. That experience sparked his idea to create the first product he ever made "The Headband Mini Flashlight Holder".  Mr. Case's entrepreneurial spirit, dedication, hard work, and creativity led his company to where it is today.
